A beautiful 1950s snake bangle made by jewellers “Crop and Farr” in the mid 20th Century. The bangle consists of a durable steel spring that has been wrapped in 9ct gold and leads to the serpent’s head and tail which have been delicately engraved and set with ruby eyes.
It’s a clever design and the spring expands to fit the wrist comfortably. It’s complete with the maker’s initials and Chester hallmarks on the back of the head which date it to 1956.
