Here we have an outstanding bangle taken from the Victorian era. This rich 18ct yellow gold piece boasts a unique design with a spherical face playing host to an eight-pointed star motif set with a round faceted pink Burmese ruby at the centre and rose cut diamonds for company. Alternating rows of matching Burmese rubies and rose cut diamonds graduate in size towards the centre at each shoulder with a terminating channel of rubies at the base before a curvaceous decoration at the under-side completes the ensemble. The piece is made complete by a plain wide rounded band with a double hinged opening and closure.
